Additionally on demonstration was the, by now legendary, Ampeggio with a new driver using a wooden cone. Inès explained that this wooden cone is stiffer than paper, though just as fast. It provides more bass and a richer, more “musical” sound.

Both speakers were sounding very fine with Voxativ SET amps and valve pre-amp together with both Analogue and Digital sources.
