This nicely designed neat little unit performs a number of important functions. A little smaller than a Mac Mini, it has a large wheel on the top for controlling volume. Push once on the wheel and it will mute or dim the output to the speakers (Configured in software).
Push then turn and it becomes a source selector. This would normally be sighted close to your music source(s). If you wish you can use it to control volume by turning the wheel, selecting the source; etc as described. It is also capable though, of learning commands from any remote control. So you can easily program it to learn your preferred remotes commands and then control all these functions from your chair, if this is situated some distance from the unit and your sources.
It also includes two digital inputs on the rear and the control out input to the control interface, which is in turn connected to the speakers.
