The Voxativ room was shared with Jo Sound who were demonstrating two pairs of speakers that are the result of a collaboration between the two companies. Both speakers have Voxativ drivers installed. The unusual spherical speaker on the right has a horn at the bottom firing the lower frequencies towards the floor. This allows this single wide band Voxativ driver to reach as low as 40 perhaps even 35hz (depending on room and placement). This spherical enclosure is the result of a collaboration between the two companies. Both speakers make use of Jo Sounds preferred material; Bamboo. These enclosures are totally non-damped and the enclosures themselves contribute to the natural, open, clear and lifelike sound. These are traits they share with Voxativ’s own speakers. The sound produced by the Jo Sound Bamboo enclosures though is different enough to make comparisons interesting.
Final choices between the two are equally likely to be made on Aesthetic considerations.
